Ginger is detoxifying and warming and packs a serious flavor punch. This juice is perfect if you’re trying to stay away from coffee but want a hot drink with some real depth. Terrific for colds or irritated vocal cords or as a digestive, this multipurpose juice is always served at my house every morning. For a refreshing cool version, serve it over plenty of ice.
If you want to avoid the bits of ginger fiber, pour the juice over a fine-mesh strainer into a clean glass or teacup. Feel free to adjust the amount to your liking—some people want this juice to be tart like lemonade; others like the ginger to really blast through their sinuses; kids like it sweet—whatever works.
Serve immediately.
